Hephzibah SC was born in 2023 from the shared passion and vision of two football minds determined to build something extraordinary in Lagos. Co-founded by Abegunde John Tolulope and Thompson-Kalu Elizabeth, the club set out with a clear mission — to develop elite football talent and compete at the highest levels of Nigerian football.
From their very first competitive season, Hephzibah SC made their presence felt across the Lagos football landscape. The club quickly assembled a disciplined, technically gifted squad under the guidance of Head Coach Ogundare Olushola, widely known as "Koko", whose tactical intelligence and man-management set the foundation for rapid growth.
The 2024/2025 season proved to be a landmark in the club's short but glorious history. Competing in the Ikeja Divisional League, Hephzibah SC produced an outstanding campaign — dominant, consistent, and relentless — sweeping the division to claim the Ikeja Divisional League Championship. It was a statement to all of Nigerian football: Hephzibah SC had arrived.
